Well, some people have called him the next Picasso. But his work more looks like a Van Gogh at this point. Do you agree?
He was called out for being a Picasso when someone saw a realistic painting in his hands; years ago mind you. Picasso really was not known for painting realism except in his early stages. He was known best for cubism.
So, despite the flattery in comment, and talent, he is not a Picasso.

“These paintings are in the middle of abstraction and reality,
basically in a form of impressionism. There is a push and pull by
which the mind is able to conceptualize the painted forms into an
image of a landscape. At the same time, the forms do not provide
a clear window into objective reality by reduction of form, exaggeration,
the emphasis of paint and the lack of precise definition.”
